The Model TG-106D Thickness gage is purpose designed to be used with blocked base curves on hollow arbors. The lower support probe fits up into the hollow arbor to center the BC without scratching and to ensure an accurate reading. There is enough clearance to measure both corneal and scleral BC’s while blocked on Larsen system tooling. Thus, no deblocking is required which maintains the integrity of the blocking process. The cast body is annodized. The unit is available in both .01 mm and .001 mm precision.
